Only 13 in. when fully pivoted, the Hatchet easily fits between 16 in. on center studs and between rafters and joists. The high torque required for tough cutting applications is supplied by the Milwaukee built, rare-earth, permanent magnet motor. Producing an impressive 0-2,700 strokes per minute, the Hatchet cuts up to 85 2x4's on a single charge! The Milwaukee exclusive reversible battery pack, together with a keyless adjustable shoe and 3/4 in. stroke length, makes the Hatchet the ultimate tool for remodel, general construction and demolition work. The steel Quik-Lok™ blade clamp accepts universal 1/2 in. shank Sawzall® blades without the need of a hex key. Blade clamp will accept blades upside down for close quarter cutting.
